The plaintiff had a verdict in the Superior Court
in an action for negligence. The defendants have
appealed and have assigned error in the finding,
in the charge to the jury, in the denial of their
motions to set aside the verdict and to strike
certain testimony offered by the plaintiff, and
in the granting of the plaintiff's motion to amend
the complaint. They have sought extensive corrections
in the finding. They have, however,
[146 Conn. 445]
abandoned the errors assigned in the charge,
and no correction of the finding is warranted
or necessary to present adequately the errors
assigned in the granting of the motion to amend
and the denial of the motion to strike. Salvatore
